Procedure

TPLO Surgery

Procedure Introduction
1. Perform a medial approach to the proximal tibia and expose the tibial shaft.

2. Measure the preoperative tibial plateau angle (TPA) and mark the planned osteotomy arc.

3. Use the TPLO jig to stabilize the tibia and perform a radial osteotomy at the marked arc.

4. Rotate the proximal tibial segment to reduce the TPA to 5–6°.

5. Position Vetluc TPLO plate and secure it using cortical and locking screws.

6. Check construct stability and perform intraoperative radiography to verify alignment.

7. Irrigate the surgical field thoroughly and close in routine fashion.

8. Postoperative X-rays confirm final TPA and implant positioning.
