Procedure

Endoscopic Spinal Surgery

Procedure Introduction
1. Identify the affected intervertebral level via imaging (CT or MRI) and mark the entry point on the skin.
2. Make a small skin incision and insert the guide needle under fluoroscopic guidance.
3. Dilate the soft tissue tract sequentially and introduce the working cannula.
4. Insert VetLuc spinal endoscope through the cannula and visualize the epidural space or disc region.
5. Under direct endoscopic visualization, use fine instruments to remove herniated disc material or hypertrophic ligament.
6. Achieve hemostasis with bipolar cautery or saline irrigation as needed.
7. After confirming adequate decompression, remove instruments and cannula.
8. Close the skin with simple sutures and apply a sterile dressing.
9. Postoperative imaging may be used to confirm decompression success.
