Procedure

Shoulder Joint Ligament Rupture Repair

Procedure Introduction
1. Follow the anteromedial surgical approach of the shoulder joint and incise the skin.

2. Open the joint capsule to expose the humeral head.

3. After the rupture of the glenohumeral ligament, the humeral head dislocates.

4. Identify the attachment point of the medial ligament of the shoulder joint.

5. Use a 1.1mm Kirschner wire for positioning.

6. Use a hollow drill of the appropriate size to create a bone tunnel for the titanium plate.

7. Remove the large titanium plate and cut off the guidewire.

8. Use the titanium plate inserter to pass the small titanium plate through the bone tunnel and flip it.

9. Repeat the same procedure at the other ligament attachment point.

10. Create a Peek Knotless Anchor bone tunnel on the humeral side.

11. Leave one suture per titanium plate, totaling two sutures per side. Use the Peek Knotless Anchor to secure the sutures from both titanium plates (four sutures in total).

12. Leave about 1cm of suture length for compression.

13. Reposition the shoulder joint, insert the Peek Knotless Anchor, remove the handle, and cut off excess sutures.

14. Move the shoulder joint to test the range of motion (ROM). If smooth and friction-free, close the joint capsule.
