Procedure

Coxofemoral Joint Ligament Rupture Repair

Procedure Introduction
1. Follow the anterolateral surgical approach of the hip joint, incising to expose the femoral head.

2. Create a passage in the femoral head using a positioning guide and place a 1.1mm Kirschner wire.

3. Select the appropriate hollow drill to create a femoral head bone tunnel.

4. Expose the acetabular fossa and position it using a Kirschner wire.

5. Select the appropriate hollow drill to create an acetabular passage.

6. Use the titanium plate inserter to pass the small titanium plate through the acetabular fossa, flip the titanium plate, and tighten the suture.

7. Insert the suture passer through the third trochanter into the femoral head tunnel and pull the suture through, repositioning the femoral head.

8. Pass the suture through the large titanium plate and secure it.

9. Place two strands of the same color into the tensioner, adjust the tension to about 32N, and perform an ROM check.

10. Tie 4-5 knots outside the tensioner, leaving a 3mm tail, and cut off excess sutures.

11. Remove the tensioner, ensure smooth ROM without friction, then tie another 4-5 knots with the remaining sutures, leaving a 3mm tail, and cut off excess sutures.
